Empowering young survivors with safe resources.

Child Advocacy Centers provide a safe, child-friendly environment where children can receive investigative services when there are allegations of abuse or neglect.
Kidz Kottage CAC is a vital part of our community’s emergency response to child abuse. We provide specialized forensic interview services to first responders and ensure children and their families have access to the recovery resources they need.

The Board of Directors shall meet on the third Monday of each month, unless that date falls on a holiday, in which case the meeting will be rescheduled for the following Monday.

All child medical examinations conducted in response to suspected abuse or neglect must be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency in accordance with applicable laws and protocols.
If there is any uncertainty regarding the appropriate jurisdiction, reports should be directed to the McCurtain County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) or the child should be taken to the Emergency Department at McCurtain Memorial Hospital for further evaluation and assistance.
Timely reporting is critical to ensuring the safety of the child and initiating a coordinated response by trained professionals.

Kidz Kottage Child Advocacy Center is committed to supporting the emotional well-being of every child we serve. While mental health services are not provided on-site, all children in need of trauma-focused counseling are referred to qualified community partners for care.
Kidz Kottage partners with Carl Albert Community Mental Health Center to ensure children and families have access to evidence-based, trauma-informed counseling services. Referrals are made to support healing, resilience, and long-term well-being following experiences of abuse or neglect.

We are here to provide support and relief to those who suffer from physical and emotional abuse due to family violence and sexual assault.
We offer victim advocacy and shelter service for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
We also offer community education through special events and outreach at schools, business, clubs and churches.
